Staff Wine Service Control
Wastage and 'shrinkage' of wine by staff can be a significant cost that dramatically reduces your profitability. Now restaurants, bars and hotels can control the serving of wine by staff.
With the innovation of Enomatic's Wine Card System, each staff member can be given a unique Wine Card. Each staff member must insert their Wine Card into the card reader to access and serve any wine. The computers within the Enomatic system monitor which staff member is serving each wine and when.
When the Wine Cards are used in conjunction with our enotec software, all servings taken by each staff member are recorded into the staff member's database. The transactions in the database can be compared to the Point of Sale transactions to identify any discrepancies. If wine was served but not charged to a customer, why not?
Note: Card readers do not necessarily need to be installed into each Enomatic model. It is possible for a single card reader to be located in a convenient location to activate all the models in the installation. However, consideration should be given to whether 2 or more staff will need to serve wine at the same time from different models.
